Unknown Assailant Beats DB Employee; Police Seek Witnesses from BPOLI S
In an unsettling incident that occurred on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, a perpetrator caused bodily harm and property damage on a stationary S-Bahn train at Stuttgart-Vaihingen station.
The suspect, described as a man aged 25 to 35 with a trimmed full beard, was wearing a grey t-shirt with a long-sleeved black top underneath and a cap. He was accompanied by four companions in the 1st class carriage of the S-Bahn S2 around 3:15 PM.
According to reports, the perpetrator refused to comply with a request from a 26-year-old DB employee to vacate the carriage for cleaning purposes. The suspect allegedly laughed at the railway employee and pushed him, causing him to fall against the door. It is believed that a scuffle ensued on the ground between the perpetrator and the railway employee.
During the altercation, the DB employee's mobile phone was reportedly knocked out of his hand, causing slight damage. The perpetrator then fled in an unknown direction with his companions.
