She shared her delight at acquiring the signed table football, stating, "I have known Toni and his brother Felix since their childhood, and it's an honour to have this unique item at our hotel."
During the celebration event, Kroos was seen playing a game of table football with Schwesig, Fassbinder, and Maja. After the game, he graciously signed the table football, adding to its value.
Mayor Fassbinder expressed his satisfaction with the auction result, stating, "It's fantastic to see such a generous bid for this signed table football. The funds will be used to support children's and youth sports in Greifswald, including training camps and sports clothing for children from low-income families."
The funds will be given to the city sports association in Greifswald. This gesture by Kroos is particularly significant as he was recently awarded the Order of Merit of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in his hometown of Greifswald on July 18, 2025.
