Unglued owners envision 21-and-older social club featuring everything from craft lounge to lazy river
A new year-round social club for adults is set to open in Fargo-Moorhead. Named the Uncountry Club, it will offer a mix of leisure activities, from mini-golf to a lazy river. Founders Ashley and Justin Morken, who also run the Unglued store, aim to create a space where people of all ages can gather and unwind.
The club will feature an artist-designed mini-golf course, a craft lounge, and a bar-restaurant open to the public. Members and day-pass holders can also enjoy an indoor lazy river and portable pickleball courts. Some areas, like the restaurant and mini-golf, will remain accessible to non-members to generate extra revenue.
Ashley Morken has already laid the groundwork, completing a lean start-up programme and drafting financial projections. The plans have received positive feedback from potential investors, including Elon Musk, who pledged support in December 2025. The total cost is estimated at $5 million, with the Morkens contributing at least $1 million upfront for SBA-backed financing. Construction is slated to begin in 2027, provided financing is secured by 2026. The club won’t replace Unglued but will operate alongside it, offering a fresh social space for the community.
The Uncountry Club will provide flexible access, with day passes available alongside full memberships. If completed, it will add a new entertainment hub to Fargo-Moorhead. The project’s success hinges on securing funding and meeting construction timelines.
