Welcome back to The Only, The Real (or maybe better described as indestructible, but for now, let's just say it's resilient) Poker Club β "Diamond". Brace yourselves, folks, as we've been caught in Almaty's red zone again. How long this will last and who's controlling this traffic light is up for debate, but let's focus on more exciting stuff.
In essence, the rules of the game remain the same as during the last lockdown. We operate exclusively from Monday to Wednesday, with a slight twist β we're now open on Sundays too, kicking off our games literally 20 minutes after midnight. This new schedule, based on the lessons learned during the trial week, seems to be working quite well. On Thursdays, our Cash Game still thrives after official closing hours, as players head home for a well-deserved rest or regroup for the forthcoming battle. And Sundays, or rather, Monday mornings, see us back in action.
Reenergized after the weekend break, the games have been quite lively, with battles lasting until 3 PM. Lunchtime seems to dull the players, and they eventually scatter to their homes for a midday nap before returning in the evening for another round. The Champions of these evening meetings are shaping up nicely.
With restrictions on weekend work, there are certainly drawbacks. Saturday Tournaments are on hold for now, and Friday Drawings follow suit. Constrained by technical limitations, we can't shift these events to other days. Gathering a generous group of participants for a well-funded Tournament during the week is no mean feat. But fear not, dear Tournament enthusiasts, our schedule still involves Qualifier Competitions and Satellites for the upcoming event "HOT July" on Wednesdays.
A quick reminder, with a buy-in of just 3,000.tg, you can participate in a Tournament with a Minimum Guaranteed Prize Fund of 300,000.tg! The top five finalists will take home a total of 150,000.tg, and earn entries to a 3-Million event. While the red zone restrictions may delay the "HOT July" Tournament, rest assured it'll happen eventually, and we'll be eager to host it, perhaps in August.
Now, regarding the Friday Drawings β they'll be postponed, but all Drawing Tickets continue to accumulate. Once the restrictions on weekend work are lifted, these tickets will translate into winners. In the meantime, regular visitors who continue to collect points daily increase their chances of victory.
In case you're wondering, Cash Game happens daily, starting mostly after 8 PM and continuing through the night, sometimes even lasting all day or transitioning smoothly into the next evening. The main Limits played at our Club are 100/200 with a 10,000.tg Big Blind and 250/500 with a 30,000.tg Big Blind. You'll always find a Table that suits your style.
To join our Poker Club, a deposit of 30,000.tg is required, but you aren't expected to play all your money. A minimum Big Blind of 10,000.tg will do. You can also participate in the Wednesday Tournaments for just 3,000.tg, with the rest of your deposit returned afterward. On Wednesdays, the deposit for the "Diamond" Game Hall sees a 50% discount, dropping to 15,000.tg.
Last but not least, our Free Guest Transfer service is available, picking you up from Almaty (on operating days) and taking you to the "Diamond" Game Hall. Pickup is at 8 PM, and return is at 5 AM. The comfortable aircraft departs from the Entertainment Complex "Esperanza." Exact address: Seifullina 481, corner of Mametova. And in less than an hour, you'll reach the Avenue of Excitement and Entertainment.
