Unclear intention leads to severe physical harm in LPI-G incident
On the evening of August 28, 2025, a disturbing incident of dangerous bodily harm took place at a bus stop on Thuringian Street in Gera. The Criminal Police are currently investigating the case.
The incident involved two men from Eastern Europe and a 37-year-old Syrian and his 32-year-old compatriot. Tragically, the 37-year-old sustained a cut wound to his face during the attack. However, the attackers could not be located by the police.
Details about the suspects are scarce. One suspect is described as approximately 170 cm tall, wearing white shoes, a black jacket with white stripes, and a cap. The height and clothing details for the second suspect were not provided in the initial report. It is believed that the suspects are between 25 and 35 years old and may have Russian or Ukrainian origins.
