In a recent development, officers from Weinheim Police Station located a vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit-and-run incident in Mannheim. The vehicle in question was an unregistered Ford.

The incident occurred late Thursday evening at approximately 11 PM. Upon discovery, police found marijuana in the Ford and noticed that it had false license plates. The driver, a 23-year-old individual, was not present at the scene and did not leave their details.

A roadside drug test on the driver, whose identity and residence remain undisclosed due to ongoing investigations, came back positive for THC, indicating marijuana use. The driver was also found to be driving without a valid driver's license.

As a result, the 23-year-old driver will face charges for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and license plate fraud. The investigation by Weinheim Police Station continues.
