A cargo ship under the Italian flag, the "Eco Levant," successfully resumed operations following an engine failure incident that occurred near Bremen, Germany, early on Wednesday morning.

According to initial reports from news aktuell, the incident took place around 03:50 AM, and the ship was unmaneuverable due to the engine failure. A tugboat was called in to tow the vessel into the harbor, which happened around 05:10 AM.

Fortunately, no personal injuries were reported during the incident, and no environmental damages were reported as a result. The Bremen Water Police initiated investigations, suggesting a technical malfunction in the engine control room as the likely cause. Further investigations into the cause of the engine failure are ongoing.
