Unattended cooktop left on
In Landau, Germany, an incident involving a stove left on in a multi-family house on Godramsteiner Street was reported to the local police department around 12 pm on Friday afternoon.
According to the Landau Police Department, smoke was detected upon inspection of the apartment, prompting the evacuation of the entire ground floor by the police and fire department. A follow-up inspection of the apartment revealed two burnt pots.
Fortunately, no personal or property damage was reported as a result of the incident. The head of the fire department in Landau involved in the incident on Friday morning is Stefan Krauch.
