Ogilvy U.K. Appoints Fiona Gordon as New CEO

Fiona Gordon has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Ogilvy U.K., effective immediately. Gordon, who has been a key figure at the advertising agency, will step up from her previous position within the company to take on this new role.

Gordon is well-known for her focus on building high-performing teams and fostering creativity and talent. These qualities have earned her recognition from industry leaders, such as Paul O'Donnell, the former Ogilvy EMEA Chairman who retired after a distinguished four-decade career at Ogilvy.

O'Donnell, in his capacity as CEO of Ogilvy EMEA, described Gordon as "a modern, inspiring leader" during discussions at events like the 2024 Cannes Lions festival. He further lauded her as a "truly modern, inspirational leader."

Gordon's responsibilities as CEO will involve leading the agency and driving its growth. She has already demonstrated her ability to do so, having focused on the growth of Ogilvy's vision across EMEA and the U.K. in her previous roles.

Gordon previously held the position of Chief Client Officer EMEA within Ogilvy, and she served as the WPP U.K. team lead for the network's Walgreens Boots Alliance account. This experience will undoubtedly prove valuable as she takes on her new role.

Notably, Ogilvy retained the Walgreens Boots Alliance account last year, a testament to the agency's strong performance under Gordon's leadership.

In her most recent role, Gordon served as the group transformation director for Ogilvy U.K. This experience will undoubtedly serve her well as she takes on her new responsibilities.

Michael Frohlich vacated the role of CEO at Ogilvy U.K. earlier this year, and his departure paves the way for Gordon's promotion. Her appointment as CEO is a new development that is sure to be welcomed by the industry and the agency's clients alike.

Gordon's promotion marks an exciting new chapter for Ogilvy U.K., and we look forward to seeing the agency continue to thrive under her leadership.
