Two inebriated motorists identified and taken off the road (Singen, District of Konstanz, May 25-26, 2025)
In the picturesque town of Singen, located within the Konstanz District, police officers from the local station made a significant arrest over the weekend. Two motorists were found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Konstanz Police Headquarters Press Office.
The first incident occurred on Sunday evening around 6:30 PM, with a driver identified while on a mountain bike in Thurgauer Street. A police patrol detected a strong smell of alcohol from the individual during a check, and a breathalyzer test showed a reading of over 2.7 per mille.
In a separate incident, a KIA driver was observed by police officers in the early hours of Monday morning at the intersection of Rielasinger Street and Georg-Fischer Street. The driver ran a red light, and officers found a strong smell of alcohol on them. A breathalyzer test conducted at the hospital following the incident showed a reading of over 1.6 per mille. The location of the KIA driver's incident was at the aforementioned intersection.
