Two individuals sustained severe injuries in a reported targeted shooting incident in Scarborough, with the perpetrator currently on the run.
In a concerning development, Toronto police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday evening at around 5:15 p.m. The scene of the incident was Tansley Avenue and Paloma Place in Scarborough.
Two men in their 20s were found at the scene with gunshot wounds and were quickly transported to a trauma centre in serious, life-threatening condition. According to the latest updates, both victims are currently in critical condition and underwent surgery on Sunday evening.
The shooting is being treated as a targeted incident by the Toronto police. The suspect is described as a 5'10" man wearing all dark clothing. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a light-colour vehicle.
