In a shocking turn of events, a man named Yogesh Sehgal has been arrested for the alleged murder of his wife Priya Sehgal and mother-in-law Kusum Sinha in Sector-17, Rohini, Delhi. The incident occurred on August 30, 2025.

The crime scene, Priya's house, was a grim sight as the police found the bodies of Kusum and Priya in a pool of blood inside a room. The Crime Team and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) were immediately called to the scene. A pair of scissors, alleged to be the weapon used, was recovered from the scene, along with blood-stained clothes.

According to Megh Sinha, Priya's brother, Yogesh Sehgal had come to Priya's house to celebrate her grandson's birthday. However, a dispute over gifts exchanged during the birthday celebrations escalated, leading to the tragic event. Yogesh Sehgal allegedly killed both Kusum and Priya before fleeing with the children.

Yogesh Sehgal, currently unemployed, was arrested by the KNK Marg police on the day of the murder. He is now in police custody, and further investigation is underway.

Kusum Sinha was 63 years old, while Priya Sehgal was just 34. The news of their untimely demise has sent shockwaves through their community. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic disputes.
