Severe Traffic Accident on Autobahn 45/Autobahn 3 at Seligenstadt Interchange
A serious traffic accident occurred on the Autobahn 45/Autobahn 3 at the Seligenstadt interchange early on Wednesday morning. According to the South East Hesse Police Highway Station, the accident happened around 1:15 AM.
The incident involved a VW Polo driven by a 22-year-old. For unknown reasons, the driver veered off the road to the right and ended up in a bush. Both the driver and the passenger, who was also a 22-year-old, sustained serious injuries. The passenger's injuries were life-threatening.
The lanes at the site of the accident were temporarily fully closed for investigation and work by an expert. The total damage caused by the accident is approximately 5,000 euros.
