Two blazes are occurring in our skyscraper structures
In the early hours of this morning, a fire broke out in an apartment on Gustav-Heinemann-StraΓe. The fire department was called at 1:20 AM following a smoke alarm, and a team of around 30 personnel from both professional and volunteer fire departments rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the firefighters immediately began firefighting efforts in the affected apartment, where the fire had started in the kitchen. Thankfully, all tenants had evacuated to safety before the fire, and no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The emergency medical services were also on hand to examine the rescued tenants for suspected smoke inhalation at the scene. One tenant was taken to a hospital as a precaution for further treatment.
Fortunately, a smoke protection curtain was effective in preventing toxic smoke from spreading to other areas, and no hazardous concentrations of smoke were detected in the apartment, stairwell, or other units.
Thanks to the quick response of the fire department, the fire was quickly brought under control, and the operation concluded after an hour. The affected apartment has been sealed off, and the criminal police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire. The extent of property damage is still unknown.
All other residents were able to return to their homes after the fire, and the operation lasted until around 11 PM. The criminal police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
