Twelfth Day of NYS Fair Brings Warm Temperatures and Brilliant Sunshine
The New York State Fair is gearing up for a sunny and cool holiday weekend, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
On Sunday, August 30, fairgoers can expect a high temperature near 77 degrees, with sunny skies gracing the fairgrounds. The evening, however, will be cooler due to a light breeze, with temperatures falling into the 50s. Fairgoers planning late-night activities may want to bring a sweatshirt or jacket.
As for entertainment, Saturday, Aug. 30, will feature a mix of funk and pop-punk, but the headliner for Sunday has yet to be specified. The NYS Fair concert guide is filled with daily headliners, but the lineup for that specific date is not yet available.
The event, which is now on its Day 12, is the second to last day, running through Labor Day. Attendance has been impressive, with over 600,000 fairgoers so far, and more than 85,000 people attending the NYS Fair on Day 10.
Unfortunately, parking may be a challenge, as Long Branch Park and the fairgrounds lots are near capacity.
On Day 11, the fair offered a pork-packed classic and smoked wings as the handpicked menu. The 2025 fair has been a delightful experience so far, with sunny skies and mild temperatures predicted to kick off the holiday weekend, as per the NYS Fair Forecast.
