Troisdorf Music School Launches Bass Lessons and Senior Choir This Autumn

The Troisdorf Music School is expanding its offerings this autumn with new bass lessons and a choir for seniors. From November, students of all ages can learn the E-bass or double bass under teacher Carlota Ramos. Meanwhile, the 'Old Voices' choir, led by Brigitte Rauscher, will welcome singers aged 65 and above from October 27th.

Bass lessons at the school cover two key instruments. The E-bass, vital in pop, rock, and funk, will be taught alongside the double bass, a staple in jazz and classical music. These lessons are open to children, teenagers, adults, and seniors, ensuring everyone can explore their musical interests.

The music school’s autumn programme provides opportunities for both instrumental and vocal learning. Bass lessons begin in November, while the 'Old Voices' choir starts later this month. Both initiatives aim to engage participants in music-making, regardless of age or prior experience.
