In the Krasnodar region of Russia, a unique set of names has emerged as the rarest for newborns in Kuban in 2025. According to Yevgeny Filipпов, the head of the regional health ministry, Rurik, Pantaleimon, Vesta, and Dali are uncommon among newborns in the region.
Sochi, the regional capital, had the highest number of births with 72 newborns, followed by Krasnodar with 65. Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik each registered 3 and 4 newborns, respectively. In the past 24 hours, a total of 154 newborns were born in the Krasnodar region.
Among the newborns, there were 89 boys and 65 girls. Two newborns were registered in the Labinsky and Temryuksky districts. Interestingly, three sets of twins were born in the region, but the identity of the father of these twins has not been disclosed.
Rurik and Pantaleimon are the rarest names for boys among newborns in Kuban, Russia, in 2025. Vesta and Dali are the rarest names for girls. These names are not among the most common or top names for newborns in the region.
Yevgeny Filipпов extended congratulations to the parents on the birth of their babies, noting the uniqueness of the names chosen. He shared the news on his Telegram channel, highlighting the diversity and individuality of the newborns in Kuban, Russia, in 2025.
