Tribute act featuring the music of Queen resumes live performance in Lusaka
Get ready for a night of iconic music as "The Queen Kings - A Tribute to Queen" make their return to Lükaz on Saturday, 6th September. The six-piece band, led by lead vocalist Sascha Krebs, will be delivering an elaborate live show, promising to take you on a journey through the biggest hits of the legendary band Queen.
The band, known for their dedication to recreating the authentic Queen sound, will be using original equipment to strive for the sound of the historic Queen recordings. This is not their first performance at Lükaz, as they made their Lükaz debut at an unknown date.
Joining them on stage will be "This is Tina," a well-known Tina Turner cover band from Rotterdam, and "Italian Rhapsody," a Queen tribute band from Rome. Both bands have previously performed at the King Rock's Festival lineup.
Doors for the performance open at 7 PM, with the show starting at 8 PM. Tickets for the event are priced at 25 Euros in advance and 30 Euros at the door, and can be purchased online at www.pretix.de/luekaz.
In case you missed it, Queen's iconic set from the 1985 Live Aid concert is included in their setlist. This, along with other fan favourites, will make for an unforgettable evening.
The band members have shared the stage with Brian May and Roger Taylor, or were part of the musical production "We Will Rock You". Drazen Zalac, Jan Wienstroer, Rolf Sander, Christof Wetter, and Susann de Bollier make up the rest of the band.
The setlist for the evening is based on the song selection from the film Bohemian Rhapsody, ensuring a diverse and exciting repertoire.
