Treasure Island Resort Unveils Redesigned Buffalo Tower After Major Upgrade
Treasure Island Resort and Casino has unveiled its newly refurbished Buffalo Tower after a major redesign. The reopening marks a significant update for the property, which first launched the tower in 1995. Leaders at the resort have described the project as a step forward in guest experience and comfort. The Buffalo Tower now offers 246 nonsmoking rooms, each designed with modern travellers in mind. Guests will find new furniture, upgraded windows, and practical features like USB charging ports and personal safes. Adjustable reading lights and refrigerators have also been added based on customer requests.
Thousands of survey responses shaped the tower's redesign. Feedback highlighted the need for improved functionality and contemporary styling, which the resort incorporated into the final plans. The updated rooms blend comfort with convenience, reflecting the preferences of frequent visitors. Mike Heavner, the resort's interim general manager, called the reopening a moment of pride. He emphasised the team's commitment to delivering an exceptional stay for every guest. Grant Johnson, president of the Prairie Island Indian Community Tribal Council, also praised the project. He acknowledged the foresight of past leaders and expressed optimism about the property's continued growth. The Buffalo Tower joins existing amenities at Treasure Island, including the Wolf and Eagle towers, Wave Spa, an amphitheatre, and The Lagoon indoor water park. Together, these facilities create a well-rounded destination for entertainment and relaxation.
