Train workers under threat from an unidentified assailant wielding a baton, according to BPOL-HB report.
On August 24, 2025, an unidentified perpetrator threatened train staff with a telescopic baton on the NWB route from Bf. Twistringen to Bf. Bremerhaven-Lehe.
The incident unfolded at approximately 10:26 AM when the suspect, described as a young adult between 20 and 24 years old, boarded the train. The suspect, who stands at approximately 170-175 cm tall, was wearing dark clothing, a cap, and dirty white shoes.
Upon entering the train, the suspect threatened the 35-year-old conductor with the baton in the front part of the train. The conductor, concerned for the safety of the passengers, asked the unknown man to leave the train just before it arrived at Twistringen station.
However, the suspect did not comply and instead re-entered the train in the rear part. There, the perpetrator threatened both the conductor and the 68-year-old locomotive driver. The suspect struck the baton on the ground in front of the conductor before exiting the train in an unknown direction.
Police in Twistringen immediately launched a search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
