In an unexpected turn of events at Munich Central Station on Monday evening, a 31-year-old man found himself in hot water after missing his train to Mittenwald. The man, with a history of police encounters, allegedly threw two beer bottles at the train, causing damage and disrupting rail traffic.

The damaged train, reported by the Federal Police, included a train door and the exterior of a car. As a result, the train was no longer operational and had to be replaced. Fortunately, the train conductor, standing behind the affected door, quickly activated the emergency brake, ensuring everyone's safety.

The incident, which also involved accusations of attempted dangerous bodily harm and joint criminal damage to property, has led to an investigation by the Federal Police. The man is suspected of dangerous interference with rail traffic.

Upon apprehension, a breathalyzer test on the man, an Afghan national, revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.57%. Despite the arrest, no further details about the man's identity or motives were provided.

The damage caused by the man's actions disrupted the evening's train schedule at Munich Central Station. However, the train conductor remained unharmed during the incident. The man is scheduled to be presented to a judge on Tuesday.
