Tragic road incident leaves driver deceased, confirmed by Polish authorities
In the early hours of this morning, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the L240 between Huxahl and Beckedorf. According to the Polizeiinspektion Celle, the incident involved a 56-year-old driver of a Golf and a driver of a Tesla.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it is known that the Golf veered off the road to the right, flipped over, and landed on its roof in a field. The Tesla, attempting to overtake on the stretch, veered off the road to the left, collided with a tree, and caught fire.
Sadly, the Tesla driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The Golf driver was taken to a hospital with injuries.
