Tragic: 12-Year-Old Boy Meets Fatal Accident at Local Playground

In the quiet town of Cheshire, two tragic incidents have left the community in shock.

A 12-year-old boy, yet to be named, was found with serious injuries at around 6:11 pm on Friday at the Wharton Recreation Ground off Ledward Street, Winsford. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the boy tragically died at the scene. Cheshire Police have confirmed that the family of the boy has been made aware.

Detective Sergeant John Rhodes of Cheshire Police expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the young boy. It is believed the boy fell from playground apparatus, and the incident is not related to any celebrity or Coldplay's Wembley Stadium shows.

In a separate, but equally distressing development, the body found in a nearby lake has been identified as Rachel Booth, a missing woman from Cheshire. Rachel was last seen at a petrol station, and the investigation into her disappearance is ongoing. The family of Rachel Booth has paid tribute to her.

Cheshire Police is appealing for further information regarding both incidents. Anyone who was in or around the Wharton Recreation Ground area at the time of the boy's incident is asked to contact the police with any information they may have. Similarly, anyone who observed the accident at Wharton Recreation Ground or has information about Rachel Booth's disappearance is urged to come forward.

The police are also asking the public not to speculate on social media about the ongoing investigations. They can be contacted through their website or by calling 101, using the incident reference number IML-216564.

It is important to note that the investigations into the playground incident and the search for Rachel Booth are separate incidents. The ongoing investigation into Rachel Booth's disappearance is not related to any celebrity or Coldplay's Wembley Stadium shows.

The community of Cheshire is urged to come together in these difficult times, offering support and comfort to the families and friends affected by these tragedies.
