Tragedy in Hamburg's Shisha Bar: official murder probe underway
In the early hours of this morning, a 33-year-old man was found dead in a shisha bar in Hamburg-Hohenfelde. The homicide squad and forensic team are currently investigating the case, urgently seeking witnesses.
The shisha bar, which has a history of violent incidents, was the site of a previous killing approximately three years ago. A 27-year-old man was killed with multiple gunshots to the face and heart. The motive for this violent act was disputes in the drug scene, as stated by the judge in the trial.
In December, two men were attacked by masked assailants at the same shisha bar, and in the recent past, a shooting also occurred, which is believed to be related to the drug scene.
The scene of the latest incident was cordoned off in the morning due to a large police presence, with both Lübecker Straße and surrounding streets closed. The homicide squad is investigating the case, with investigators walking the area and questioning neighbours as part of the investigation.
Rescue workers from the fire department attempted to revive the man, but he later succumbed to his severe injuries. The identity of the person who shot the man has not been disclosed at this time.
The identity of the deceased was initially unknown, but has since been identified. The shisha bar where the recent shooting occurred has a history of violence related to the drug scene, as evidenced by the previous killing.
