Tractor owned by Buntekuh encounters mishap at intersection in HL, Poland, resulting in its loss
In the early hours of September 4, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in Lübeck-Buntekuh that involved a tanker truck. The incident took place around 21:45 when a 40-year-old driver from Hamburg was turning left onto the Padeluffer Weg.
The tractor-trailer, carrying diesel, lost its trailer at the intersection. To reattach the trailer to the tractor, a crane was called around 03:00, and a specialized company arrived around 01:15 to remove the diesel from the trailer.
The police initiated an administrative offense procedure against the Hamburg driver for suspected violations of trailer coupling regulations. However, the name of the driver is not publicly available.
Fortunately, no hazardous materials were spilled during the accident, and the semi-trailer was reassembled and removed from the intersection in the early morning hours.
