Tractor Flip in Pol-Si Leaves 37-Year-Old with Minor Injuries and Significant Property Damage #PolsiAccident
In the Siegen-Wittgenstein District on March 18, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the B480 between Doฬdesberg and Albrechtsplatz. The incident, which took place at approximately 11:05 AM, involved a truck-tractor unit loaded with gravel and resulted in property damage and injuries.
The driver of the truck-tractor unit, a 37-year-old individual, was slightly injured in the accident and was transported to a hospital by an ambulance. Initial investigations suggest the accident was due to inappropriate speed.
The accident caused significant property damage, with the estimated cost totalling around 200,000 euros. This damage was not only to the vehicle but also to the nearby guardrails. To clean up the spilled fuel, a specialist company was called in by the fire department.
The B480 was temporarily fully closed for the accident investigation and the recovery of the truck-tractor unit. Further investigations will be handled by the traffic commission in Bad Berleburg.
