In a significant development for the city of Novorossiysk, the construction of a large-scale complex for fire-fighting and rescue sports has begun in the village of Glebovka. The mayor, Andrey Kravchenko, announced the project on his Telegram channel, emphasising its importance.

The complex, spanning approximately seven thousand square meters, is being coordinated by Sergey Chaplygin. It will not only serve for fire-fighting and rescue sports, but also for promoting a healthy lifestyle among Novorossiyans.

The complex will feature a variety of facilities. These include an obstacle course, a four-lane training tower, a climbing wall, a running track, a calisthenics area, GTO norm testing zones, city games areas, a multifunctional sports playground, and a 100-seat tribune for spectators. Rest areas are also planned for the complex.

The creation of this specialized platform is aimed at developing the physical training of emergency service specialists. It is part of a larger initiative to improve emergency services and promote health in Novorossiysk.
