New Yachts to Debut at the Cannes Boat Show 2025

Get ready for an exciting boat show season as several prominent production brands are set to launch new models. Here's a sneak peek at some of the anticipated premieres:

The Wauquiez 55 will make its debut with a Lombard-designed hull featuring a distinctive reverse sheer and chines, combined with a protected and covered central cockpit. This innovative design offers an inviting raised saloon and class-leading space in the aft owner's suite.

Italia Yachts' 16.98 flagship is due to launch in autumn, designed for cruising and long-term cruising. The yacht boasts a lighter weight build, with a higher percentage of composite material, a full carbon grid, and carbon structures.

Lagoon's 38 and 80 models will also be showcased. The Lagoon 38, although specific details are yet to be revealed, is set to launch during the boat show season. The Lagoon 80, born out of the Bordeaux yard's experience and the design powerhouse of VPLP, Patrick le Quement, and Nauta, is a super catamaran that promises to bring something truly different to the party.

The Ice 64 Explorer is a performance yacht designed for ocean cruising, offering energy and operational independence. It features a carbon T-top and bimini enclosing an otherwise sleek cockpit, multi-functional for crew protection, housing the mainsheet traveller, solar panels, and rainwater collection drains.

The Grand Soleil 65 Performance is a Matteo Polli and Nauta design, part of the brand's semi-custom Plus line of models over 60ft. This sleeker model offers a saloon at the same level as the forward accommodation.

Excess, a Beneteau Group brand, will display the Excess 13, 11, and 14 at the Cannes Boat Show. The CNB 62, Mylius 66RS, Grand Soleil's latest 65 Performance, and the Swan 51 will also be showcased by the Italians.

The Swan 51 is a modern luxury fast cruiser, designed by German Frers, and is the latest in a long line of successful Swan models. Its larger sister 52 sports a new hull and deck, with the extra beamy aft profile the signature of America's Cup designer Roberto Biscontini.

The Cannes Boat Show will have a variety of new yacht premieres in Autumn 2025, including the Oceanis 47 and 52 from Beneteau. These new models share close resemblances to the previous 46.1 and 51.1, but have been tweaked rather than redrawn. The L-shaped cockpit on the Oceanis 47 and 52 has increased in size and is offered in open or closed formats.

Other notable premieres include the McConaghy MC68, a 'pocket superyacht' design by Jason Ker, featuring hydraulic centerboards and a customizable interior. The Comar C-Cat 65 is a high-performance sports catamaran, designed by Enrico Contreas, featuring a stiff and light construction, with carbon as the predominant material choice.

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 415 is the first model of the 9th generation of Sun Odyssey, replacing the highly popular Sun Odyssey 410. Designed by Marc Lombard and Jean-Marc Piaton, this new model promises to continue the Sun Odyssey legacy.

Lastly, the AB 95 yacht will be presented for the first time at the Cannes Boat Show in 2025 as a world premiere. This yacht, featuring 28.5 meters in length, seating for ten guests, a 6,000-horsepower engine, and speeds up to 50 knots, combines performance with luxury.

The Tortue 147 turtle boat and the MODX 70 are also set to make their debuts during the boat show season, bringing something truly different to the party. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting new yachts!
