Thrilling news for enthusiasts: Kick-off of the festival with an astonishing announcement awaits admirers
The much-anticipated 20th anniversary show for the German band Feine Sahne Fischfilet is set to take place in the IGA Park Rostock, marking a significant milestone for the group. This special event will see the band performing with most of their current regular lineup, a lineup that has remained largely unchanged since their first performance on stage two decades ago.
The Wetzigs and Witteborgs, regular attendees of the festival, were among the first to arrive and take over the campsite, having traveled almost 800 kilometers to Vorpommern with a four-year-old daughter in tow. The arrival date was moved forward by four hours compared to last year, and the organizers efficiently managed the influx of arrivals, directing hundreds of cars away from public roads and processing them quickly in three lanes.
Axel Gorkow, the father of frontman and singer Jan "Monchi" Gorkow, will be joining the band members on board the boat during the trip. The first tickets for the anniversary show will be sold in Jarmen, with every buyer receiving an original poster for the anniversary concert.
The anniversary show will be the band's only open-air show in 2026. In addition to this, several other bands are scheduled to perform at IGA Park Rostock in 2026. Marteria will take the stage on August 14, followed by Feine Sahne Fischfilet on July 18, AnnenMayKantereit on August 22, and Dritte Wahl on September 12.
To add to the excitement, a raffle will be held, with the lucky winner receiving a chance to go on a boat trip on the Peene with a companion. This promises to be a memorable event for fans of Feine Sahne Fischfilet and a big birthday party to celebrate their 20-year journey in the music industry.
An early sale for the tickets will start on Friday before the normal ordering process begins via "TixforGigs.de" at 5 p.m. The B110 and the bypass were jammed throughout the afternoon in both directions due to the high volume of arrivals, but the adjacent equestrian area served as a holding area, where vehicles had to drive a large loop before being guided back to the entrance via the disused old arm of the B110.
As the countdown to the anniversary show begins, fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to secure their tickets and be a part of this historic event.
