Thousands of Schools in Krasnodar Region to Admit Students on Knowledge Day

Krasnodar Krai, a region in southern Russia, is gearing up for a new academic year with exciting changes and improvements. The region is home to 1,252 schools, including urban and rural institutions, which will be welcoming 780,000 students this year.

Among the newcomers are approximately 68,000 first-graders who will be starting school for the first time. To cater to this influx of students, nearly 40,000 teachers will be responsible for their education. Additionally, around 1,400 buses will be working to transport children to schools across the region.

The schools in Krasnodar Krai have undergone significant renovations this year. In celebration of the Day of Knowledge, no less than 685 schools have been renovated to provide a more conducive learning environment for students.

One of the most notable renovations took place in the city of Krasnodar, where a newly built branch of School No. 98 was opened on September 1, 2025. However, the single entrance for students and parents caused initial crowding and stress.

To keep the community informed, news from the Krasnodar Krai Administration can also be found on popular social media platforms like "VKontakte" and "Odnoklassniki". Governor Veniamin Kondratyev of Krasnodar Krai has also taken to social media to wish students, parents, and teachers a successful new academic year.

It's worth noting that the schools in Kuban are not only renovated but also expanded every year. This academic year, at least 10 new schools have been opened, and existing institutions have been repaired. Furthermore, 109 colleges and technical schools will open on September 1st, providing more opportunities for students to further their education.

As the new academic year begins, the schools of Krasnodar Krai are ready to welcome students, teachers, and parents with open doors and a commitment to quality education.
