40-Year-Old Vengeance - This game is already considered a classic.

### Union Berlin seeks redemption in the Oberliga!

The match is set to kick off on July 6, a Saturday, at 3:30 pm during Bundesliga opening hours. This will also mark the start of the season in Leutzsch. Similar to the encounter last summer with Wacker Innsbruck, a comprehensive program is once again planned, delving into the past, present, and future of BSG Chemie Leipzig.

Tickets (ranging from 15 to 23 euros for regular attendees) are now available through the BSG online shop.

For those with a bit of nostalgia, they'll be reminded of the legendary year 1984. During that time, Chemie and Union were neck-and-neck on points and goals in the GDR Oberliga after 26 match days. HFC Chemie had already been relegated in last place. Consequently, two relegation matches were necessary to determine who would be relegated a league below. Following a 1:1 draw in Berlin, Chemie won 2:1 in the second meeting and remained in the Oberliga.

Chemie now find themselves playing three leagues beneath their counterparts from Köpenick. However, their excitement is undiminished. The game is sure to be a cult classic once again.
