Thirty-year-old individual identified as BPOLI MD allegedly attempted a theft, assaulted, and berated another person.

On August 31, 2025, at 17:52, the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg received a request for assistance regarding an attempted theft at Magdeburg Central Station. The incident involved a 35-year-old man from Poland, who had taken several drinks and attempted to leave a store without paying.

Before the arrival of the officers, the suspect became violent. He pushed a witness and punched a 41-year-old German man in the face with his right fist. A 56-year-old German woman intervened, threatening the suspect until he returned the stolen goods.

Upon arrival, the Federal Police patrol from the Federal Police Inspection Magdeburg promptly took the suspect to the police premises. The suspect was taken voluntarily to the Federal Police offices at Magdeburg Central Station, where his personal details were recorded.

The suspect is now facing criminal charges for petty larceny, bodily harm, and insult. In addition, he has been given a ban from the affected retail outlet.
