Thioune prefers not to make any modifications.

In contrast to the tensed team in the state capital, only 50 kilometers away, their coach, Thioune, reveals they're quite relaxed. He shares, "There's no need for major changes, as the players haven't committed many errors."

To make a comeback to the German league. - Thioune prefers not to make any modifications.

The door is wide open for Fortuna Düsseldorf's seventh promotion to the Bundesliga!

Daniel Thioune's (49) boys from the 2nd division, who won strongly 3-0 against higher VfL Bochum in the 2nd division, have all the necessary factors in their favor for the upcoming second leg on Monday (27.5., 20:30/Sky and SAT1). With the exception of Jamil Siebert (22/operation following a tear in his tendon), every player is available for selection. Before the season finale, Fortuna's small but fine squad had been hit with many absences. However, one player was injured in the warm-up for the first leg of the relegation play-off. Thioune: "Nicolas Gavory has a muscle injury in his calf. Unfortunately, the warm-up monster bit us again. But I can't rule out it happening again, and I'll see how the boys recover from the first leg."

After the impressive three-zero victory, the coach will still need to decide whether to start with the same eleven again: "Everyone was outstanding, and I can add quality from the bench."

Thioune plans his team selection based on players who can control Bochum. He believes that Bochum won't change their style and will keep trying for deep balls and second balls, as well as targeting Kevin Stöger. "Of course, we can consider counter-attacks, but the first step is to control the game. And the team that won in Bochum is perfect for this."

The coach added a few personal motives, saying, "We don't want to lose our fifteenth game in a row, continue to have a scoreless record at home, and not concede a goal. There are still some reasons to give our all on Monday."
