In the early hours of August 25, 2025, a break-in and theft of a cash register took place in Bocholt, Osterstraße. The incident occurred at 1:15 AM, and the police are seeking more witnesses to provide valuable information about the incident.

The suspect in question is approximately 20 years old, stands at around 1.70 meters tall, and has an athletic build. On the night of the crime, the suspect was dressed in a black hoodie, light jeans, and black shoes.

During the incident, the suspect made a hasty escape on an e-scooter. After a brief pursuit, a witness managed to shout at the fleeing suspect. The suspect dropped the stolen cash register and the scooter before disappearing over a high fence on Pottmeyers Stiege.
