In Bielefeld, Germany, a 40-year-old homeless man found himself in hot water after allegedly stealing goods from a store on Große-Kurfürsten-Straße. The incident occurred at around 5:20 PM on an unspecified day.

According to reports, the man made his way to the unmanned checkout area without paying for 23 cans of energy drink and three packets of trail mix. A store detective noticed the theft and approached the man outside the checkout area.

In the ensuing confrontation, the man attempted to flee but was held by a detective. During the struggle, he dropped his jacket and backpack, which contained personal documents. These documents were found to belong to a known 40-year-old drug addict, although no further details about this individual are currently available.

The man managed to break free and fled towards the main train station. However, the police were quick to respond and were able to apprehend him.
