The Mill Adventure appoints Bjørnar Heggernes as new Chief Commercial Officer

The Mill Adventure (TMA), a Malta-based iGaming platform provider, has named Bjørnar Heggernes as its new Chief Commercial Officer. The company, known for its technical expertise and compliance in regulated markets, continues to expand its global reach with recent approvals in key regions.

Heggernes brings over a decade of industry experience to the role, aiming to strengthen TMA's commercial strategy and client relationships worldwide. TMA specialises in iGaming solutions, offering AI-driven innovations like SmartLobbies, an automated casino lobby management system, and Betpool, a social feature for shared gaming experiences. The company operates SlotMagie under a German license from the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL) and holds approvals in multiple markets, including Portugal, Malta, Ontario (Canada), and the Netherlands.

Recently, TMA completed its platform homologation in Portugal, a critical step toward securing a local license with an operator partner. Finland is also set to join the list of approved markets soon.

Dario Arruda, TMA's Co-founder and CEO, highlighted Heggernes' strategic mindset and leadership as key factors in scaling the company's operations. Heggernes, who previously held senior roles in marketing and product development, expressed enthusiasm about driving commercial growth and expanding TMA's global footprint.

His responsibilities will include leading the company's commercial strategy, nurturing client partnerships, and identifying new opportunities in regulated markets. While TMA has a strong presence in Europe and select North American regions, no official announcements have been made regarding further expansion by 2026. With Heggernes at the helm of commercial operations, TMA aims to build on its existing approvals across Europe and North America. The company's focus remains on compliance, innovation, and strategic partnerships as it strengthens its position in the iGaming industry. No additional markets have been confirmed for entry beyond the current list of regulated regions.
