Bayreuth, Bavaria - A stunning yet stinky titan...
Standing tall at three meters, the giant titan arum blooms for just two days and two nights - a rare occurrence indeed. In fact, the last time this happened was with a 21-year-old flower in Bayreuth in 2021. It once showcased its bloom in its natural habitat at the Palmengarten in Frankfurt.

As the rare event is, unfortunately, so fleeting, the University of Bayreuth installed a webcam so those intrigued could watch the blooming process live. Furthermore, the garden's opening hours were elongated to 9 p.m., catering to the inquisitive audience.
The blooms of the three titan arum plants in Bayreuth are always major attractions, garnering countless museum-goers curious to witness this natural spectacle. The last time, around several thousand people flocked to the site to be in awe.
