Mini-Bayreuth, a children's play city located at Frankengutstraße 13 on the grounds of the Bayreuth Youth Tent Camp, is set to open its doors from Monday, August 11th to Friday, August 15th.

The play city offers a variety of activities for children who have started the first grade, with the fun starting each day as the box office opens half an hour before the start of the day. An afternoon pass, valid from 12.30 pm, costs two euros, while a full-day pass for Mini-Bayreuth is priced at four euros.

Children can earn "Knobbern", the play currency of Mini-Bayreuth, by participating in various activities. This currency can be spent on attractions like a bouncy castle or a living table football game.

Mini-Bayreuth is not just a playground; it's a city in miniature. Children can take on roles such as police officers in the children's police force, publish articles in the "Kaesblaettla" newspaper, and even participate in the children's council's decision on the "Knobbern" donation.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mayor Thomas Ebersberger and Nancy Kamprad from the City Youth Council. During the ceremony, the Mayor addressed the children and organisers of Mini-Bayreuth.

The week-long event will culminate in a closing show featuring magician "Phantaro" Gerd Boerner, scheduled for Friday, August 15th, at 2.30 pm. However, the search results do not provide information on who conducted the closing show on the previous Fridays.

It's important to note that there is no advance ticket sale for Mini-Bayreuth. Children are welcome to visit the play city from Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 4 pm.

Mini-Bayreuth promises a week of fun, learning, and camaraderie for children in Bayreuth. So, come along and join the fun!
