Limited-edition release - The hit TV show "Let's Dance" makes its debut on location.

"Let's Dance," a popular RTL show, is venturing beyond its standard TV studio for a unique musical event on May 10th. The change of location is due to a special edition of the program. The semifinals on this day will take place on the set of the famous musical, "Moulin Rouge!" which has been at the Musical Dome since 2022. The Musical Dome is located near Cologne Cathedral and close to the Rhine, approximately 7 kilometers from the "Let's Dance" studio in Cologne-Ossendorf.

RTL also plans to move the iconic jury panel comprising Joachim Llambi, Motsi Mabuse, and Jorge González to the same location. In keeping with the musical theme, the musical's content will be reflected in the show. "During the semifinals, the five remaining couples will dance to songs from Germany's hottest musical, resulting in a stunning musical and dance extravaganza," the broadcaster shared. The cast of the musical will also kick off the program, with the show's motto being "A Musical Night to Remember."

The Musical Dome, where "Moulin Rouge!" is set, underwent extensive renovations to suit the musical. It aims to recreate the atmosphere of the famous Parisian nightclub at the center of the story, featuring intricate details, bold red and velvet décor. The extravagant production is modeled after the 2001 film, "Moulin Rouge."
