Unintentional decease of Marlon (aged 21) - The driver of a Hyundai car gave himself up to the authorities.
On Saturday morning at 4:29 am, emergency responders were called to Lippramsdorfer Straße in Dorsten, NRW, due to a discovered body. Police officers arrived at the scene to document the accident and gather evidence. Shortly after, a 25-year-old man in a damaged van pulled up.
After passing by the accident, he turned around and approached the officers. The damaged van was confiscated by the police.
The traffic commissioner's office examined the evidence and determined that the Hyundai was the vehicle involved. Police spokeswoman Pia Weßing stated, "The 25-year-old male witness, who is a German national from Dorsten, was the individual responsible for the accident and returned to the scene."
More investigations are needed to determine what occurred on the district road.
