The conclusion of the student and youth work brigades, known as "Jasil el", has been reached.
In the heart of Astana, the 21st labor season of the student construction and youth labor teams "Zhasyl El" came to a close. This significant event was organised by the public fund "Republican Movement of Student Construction and Youth Teams" with the support of the Department of Youth Policy of Astana.
The "Zhasyl El" program, which has been running since 2005, continues to promote patriotic and ecological education in Astana. Over the years, the city's headquarters has completed socially important work, such as greening, beautification, park and school territory cleaning, and improving the city.
This year, within the framework of the "Zhasyl El" program in the capital, about 5200 young people were employed. These participants, including children from large and low-income families, were provided with special equipment and actively participated in city greening, park, and educational facility clean-up throughout the summer.
Yerlan Nurlanuly, a specialist from the Department of Youth Policy of Astana, stated that the "Zhasyl El" program promotes patriotic and ecological education, reduces unemployment, and demonstrates youth skills through diligence.
At the closing ceremony, School-Lyceum 56, Secondary School 19, and School-Gymnasium 65 were awarded in the "Best Group" category. Teachers from these participating schools were honoured for their role in attracting children to the work.
The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution and held as part of the republican action "New Kazakhstan". It concluded with a concert program for youth.
The name of the public foundation that supported the 21st work season of the "Zhasyl El" program was the "Nur Otan" Public Foundation. Over 100 partner organizations contributed to the project's realization, making it a truly collaborative effort.
Thirteen teenagers received letters of appreciation and valuable gifts in the "Best Commander" and "Best Fighter" categories. Their dedication and hard work were recognised and celebrated at the event.
The "Zhasyl El" program not only served as a source of income but also taught the youth to appreciate labor and strengthened their patriotic feelings. As the program continues, it is expected to inspire more young people in Astana to contribute to the city's development.
