The A.V. Club is expanding its games section with daily news and in-depth criticism. The move builds on the site's long-standing reputation for thoughtful, culturally aware games coverage.

Readers, known for their passionate engagement, will now see more frequent updates on gaming and related entertainment topics. Garrett Martin will lead the expanded games section, bringing years of editorial experience. He previously edited games coverage at Paste since 2011 and later at Endless Mode. His work spans video games, board games, tabletop RPGs, pinball, sports, anime, theme parks, and immersive entertainment.

The site will also maintain its weekly Game Theory column, written by William Hughes. Meanwhile, anime coverage will remain under associate editor Elijah Gonzalez. The A.V.
