Texas trucker strikes $2M gold with a Maryland scratch-off ticket
A truck driver from Texas has won a $2 million jackpot on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket. The lucky win came during a visit to friends in Hagerstown, where he purchased a $30 Ace of Spades game card.
The Ace of Spades scratch-off launched in September 2025 with a top prize of $2 million. The Texas driver matched every number on his ticket, including a rare 200X multiplier symbol. This boosted his winnings from the base amount to the full $2 million.
The winner, who often buys lottery tickets while travelling across the US, picked up the ticket at a local grocery store. He now plans to share the money with his family. The game still has two top prizes and two $50,000 second-tier prizes left to claim.
Official records do not show how many of the original $2 million top prizes have been won so far. The overall odds of winning any prize in the Ace of Spades crazy games stand at 1 in 2.73.
The Texas driver's win adds to the growing list of big payouts from the Maryland Lottery's Ace of Spades game. With remaining top prizes still unclaimed, players continue to have a chance at similar life-changing wins.
