Tennis Stars Gauff and Osaka Prepare for Second Act, Contender Sinner Clashes with Bublik in US Open Round

The U.S. Open 2023 continues to deliver exciting matches, with some intriguing encounters lined up for the fourth round.

In the men's draw, 13th-seeded Ekaterina Alexandrova (Russia) will face a tough challenge against the second-seeded Iga Swiatek (Poland). Meanwhile, the Italian Lorenzo Musetti and Spain's Jaume Munar will square off in another enthralling clash.

Notably, the defending champion, Jannik Sinner, will face a significant test against 23rd-seeded Alexander Bublik. Bublik, who has yet to drop serve in this U.S. Open campaign, recently overcame 14th seed Tommy Paul in the third round. Sinner, on the other hand, delivered a major upset by beating German third seed Zverev in the third round. Despite Sinner's past victories against Bublik, the Ukrainian has shown impressive form in the tournament, which has given him confidence going into their match.

In a rematch of their 2019 U.S. Open encounter, Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka will face each other. Gauff, who was a wild card in the 2019 U.S. Open when she first played Osaka, who was the defending champion, will be looking to avenge her defeat. Osaka, seeded 23rd, has reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time in over four years, adding an extra layer of excitement to this highly anticipated match.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, the 25-year-old 25th seed, also delivered a major upset in the tournament by beating Zverev. His next opponent will be 15th seed Andrey Rublev, who has beaten Auger-Aliassime seven times in their eight previous encounters. However, Rublev is cautious about their upcoming match due to Auger-Aliassime's form in the tournament. Auger-Aliassime has shown improvement this year, winning two ATP titles and scoring wins over top-ranked players like Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev.

The U.S. Open Order of Play on Monday includes a match between Auger-Aliassime and Rublev on Arthur Ashe Stadium at 1530 GMT/1130 AM ET. Leandro Riedi (Switzerland) and 8th-seeded Alex de Minaur (Australia) will also play each other in another exciting match.

Amanda Anisimova (U.S.) and Beatriz Haddad-Maia (Brazil) will face each other in another women's match. The winner of this match will advance to the quarterfinals.

The U.S. Open 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting tournament, with unexpected upsets and thrilling matches. Stay tuned for more updates as the tournament progresses.
