Telestream Unveils Next-Generation Ingest Architecture at IBC2025

Telestream is set to debut its new Global Ingest strategy at the upcoming IBC2025, a move that promises to revolutionize editorial, archive discovery, and distribution processes.

Charlie Dunn, the Executive Vice President of Product Management at Telestream, will introduce the company's global ingest strategy at the event. Telestream will showcase Global Ingest powered by Vantage at IBC2025, Stand 7.B21.

The new strategy is designed for ultimate flexibility, scalability, and efficiency, seamlessly unifying live capture, camera card ingest, and file-based workflows. It eliminates workflow bottlenecks, enabling instant interoperability with a wide range of platforms.

One of the key features of the Global Ingest strategy is its support for various environments, including on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. This makes it an ideal solution for modern content production at scale.

Vantage Live Capture, a high-performance ingest engine, is at the heart of the Global Ingest strategy. It offers deep codec support and can centralize ingest from IP, SDI, and tape-based sources, including support for ST 2110, SDI, SRT, NDI, MPEG-TS, and RTMP.

Telestream's camera card ingest solution is another highlight of the Global Ingest strategy. It offers a streamlined user experience with enhanced metadata extraction, multi-destination workflows, and tight Vantage integration, accelerating turnaround times for editors.

The strategy also produces structured, system-aware, and standards-compliant metadata at the point of capture. This ensures a smooth flow of information throughout the production process.

In addition, Telestream will unveil the Proxyless Player for Distributed Teams, a professional-grade playback experience for live and captured media. It features real-time 10-bit native playback, scopes, and audio monitoring. The review will support remote editorial collaboration without the need for proxy generation.

Lastly, Telestream introduces Live Schedule PRO 2.0, a high-availability, enterprise-ready scheduling platform with clustered deployment, automation, and failover capabilities. It's designed for continuous operation in live newsrooms, sports broadcasters, and 24/7 ingest environments.

The Global Ingest strategy marks a significant step forward in Telestream's commitment to providing innovative solutions for the media and entertainment industry. Visitors to IBC2025 are encouraged to stop by Stand 7.B21 to experience the new strategy firsthand.
