Tech reveals scheduling for 2024 Regional Leadership Summit Series by Learning and Technology

Get ready for an exciting lineup of events as Tech & Learning unveils its Regional Leadership Summits for the year 2024. These free-to-attend events are designed to address the unique needs of each region, providing valuable insights for district leaders.

The Schedule

The day's events will kick off with a registration and breakfast period from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Lunch will be served from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a meet the partners session. Problem-solving table discussions and partner meetings will take place at 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

In between these sessions, attendees can participate in discussions on various topics, such as navigating generative AI, sustaining tech programs after ESSER, rethinking PD, data privacy & security, data governance, managing the teacher & administrator shortage, professional development, teacher recruitment & retention, staff and student wellness, and more.

Regional Focus

Each summit will focus on topics relevant to its region. For example, the Southeast Summit will delve into AI and emerging tech, data privacy and security, professional development, and rethinking learning spaces. The New England Summit, on the other hand, will take place at the Connors Center outside Boston, with topics determined by attendees in a pre-con survey.

The Delaware/Maryland/Virginia Summit will feature speakers such as Richard Culatta, Keith Kruger, Amy Jackson, and Krystle Pearson. The Utah Summit will have speakers like Hall Davidson, Barb Nemko, Audra Yocom, and Dr. Shannon Putnam. The Texas Summit will discuss Texas policy changes and how they impact the classroom and the state of technology in education.

Special Events

The Denver Summit, which will take place at the Denver Zoo the day before the ISTE Summit, will reflect on the 2024-25 school year and discuss the future of education. The Innovation Summit, an invite-only event, will allow attendees to design a school of the future and share their ideas in the Tech & Learning Innovation Playbook.

Qualified attendees of the Tech & Learning Regional Leadership Summits will have their hotel stays covered by Tech & Learning. There will also be an awards ceremony at 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Awards and Recognition

Tech & Learning will recognise exceptional district administrators with the Tech & Learning Innovative Leader Awards. Winners and finalists of these awards will receive an exclusive invitation to Tech & Learning's Innovative Leader Summit.

Networking Opportunities

The Tech & Learning Regional Leadership Summits offer attendees the opportunity to learn about current issues in the world of edtech and network with vendor partners for implementation. There will be sessions selected by attendees and partners at 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
