Tanzolymp 2026 Unites Young Dancers Under *Dance as a World Language* in Berlin

Tanzolymp, the annual international dance festival for young performers, will return to Berlin in 2026 for its 23rd edition. This year’s event will center on the theme Dance as a world language, bringing together talented dancers aged 10 to 21 from around the globe. Organizers have yet to announce who will lead the festival’s artistic direction for the upcoming year.

Since its founding, Tanzolymp has become a key platform for emerging dancers. The competition spans six distinct categories: Classical/Neoclassical, Modern/Contemporary, Character/Folklore, Jazz, Pop, and Tap. Each discipline offers participants the chance to showcase their skills in front of industry professionals.

The 2026 edition of Tanzolymp will continue its tradition of celebrating youthful talent under the banner Dance as a world language. With six competitive categories and valuable prizes on offer, the festival remains a vital stepping stone for aspiring dancers. Further updates, including the appointment of an artistic director, are expected in the coming months.
