Maruti Suzuki, one of India's leading automobile manufacturers, has recently unveiled its latest offering - the Victoris. This new SUV is set to become the flagship product from the brand's Arena retail network and is expected to significantly boost the Indian compact SUV segment.

The design of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris draws inspiration from the Grand Vitara, but with distinctive elements that set it apart. The smoother profile of the Victoris, designed for improved aerodynamics, is a departure from the Grand Vitara's more robust appearance. The taillight design showcases a 3D look along with a sleek brake lamp, adding a modern touch to the SUV's rear end.

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed the name of the new SUV as the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. The vehicle will come with two different alloy wheel design choices, providing customers with the opportunity to personalise their ride.

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is expected to offer multiple powertrain choices, including mild-hybrid petrol, CNG, and strong-hybrid mill. The CNG version of the Victoris will feature an underbody CNG tank, ensuring a smooth and efficient driving experience.

In terms of safety features, the Victoris is expected to be equipped with a plethora of advanced technologies. These include six airbags, ABS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree surround view camera, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite. The SUV will also boast class-leading features such as Dolby Atmos, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Alert, and a segment-first powered tailgate with gesture control.

The interior of the Victoris will be upmarket, featuring a fresh dashboard layout, a larger floating touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a premium Arkamys-tuned sound system, a fully digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats.

Maruti Suzuki aims to sell the Victoris in over 100 countries around the world. While the selling price in Germany is not officially available, it is expected to be slightly above the Suzuki Grand Vitara price range of approximately €13,000 to €23,000 based on Indian market indications.

With the launch of the Victoris, Maruti Suzuki is focusing on expanding its market share in the mass market SUV segment. The SUV will face competition from popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is set to launch during the festive season, and with its promising features and design, it's sure to make a significant impact in the Indian automobile market. The SUV will be sold through the Arena retail chain, and customers will have 10 different exterior colour choices to choose from. Maruti Suzuki is all set to give the Indian compact SUV segment a major boost with the launch of the Victoris.
