Suspected Individual Flees Traffic Accident Scene in Bonn-Tannenbusch; Transport Commissioner Delves Into Incident, Solicits Eyewitness Accounts
In the heart of Bonn, an unusual incident occurred on Brühler Straße on Tuesday morning. At precisely 09:50, a 55-year-old driver was travelling along Brühler Straße towards Justus-von-Liebig-Straße when they had to suddenly brake to avoid a collision.
The cause of the sudden stop was an unknown cyclist, who was reportedly riding a black recumbent bike with chrome parts and a green flag. According to investigations, this cyclist allegedly turned onto Brühler Straße from Straße Am Krähenhorst without stopping at the stop sign.
The cyclist continued on Brühler Straße after the alleged accident, but investigations by the 1st Traffic Commission of the Bonn Police have not yielded further information about the cyclist. Local district duty officers were involved in the investigations.
Unfortunately, a following 19-year-old driver then rear-ended the vehicle of the 55-year-old driver. The damaged vehicles were towed away from the scene, but the name of the cyclist involved in the incident at 09:50 on Brühler Straße near Straße Am Krähenhorst is not publicly available.
