In a disturbing incident that occurred on Friday evening, a 52-year-old resident of Dortmund was severely injured in an attack on Münsterstraße. The incident, which took place around 20:45 in front of the Nord Sports Hall, has left the man's life hanging in the balance, according to medical reports.

The police have established a homicide unit to investigate the incident, and they are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information about the crime or the fleeing suspects. The attacks were carried out by several individuals who later fled the scene.

According to initial reports, the injury was inflicted by multiple attacks with a sharp object. The man was subsequently taken to a hospital by an ambulance. The identity of the person who carried out the attack has not been disclosed in the available search results.
